To give Jennifer a chance to clean out her desk in the den, which we are in the process of converting into a bedroom for Sage, I took the kiddie winks out to Keyhole Canyon to check out the petroglyphs. It's a pretty neat little canyon, but it does tend to get trashed by scouts. We decided we'd take trash bags next time. Check out some photos:

Behold Mr. Chuckwalla (well, we think?)

Petroglyphs - yes, you have to look closely.
Ryder navigating the gravel canyon floor.
Savannah took this nice one.

There are tons of petroglyphs here, but they are hard to see in this photo.

Cute kids in a dry waterfall.

Those are cute kids! You guys had fun and the desk is now clean and ready for removal. I will miss that old desk. Maybe I can go with you guys next time.
Oh! I want to add that I really like the lyrics of The Waterboys song. Maybe you should add a playlist to your blog with that song on it.
Hey Eric, I didn't know you had a blog! You always go on great hikes, wish it sounded fun to me! Can't wait to see you guys!
Hi Eric,
It was fun to read your blog. You should write more. Those are really cute kids and they look like they had a good time.
We are looking forward to seeing you.
Love you loads, Lori
Great photos! Makes me want to hike Keyhole Canyon and makes me regret missing Bridge Mountain. Keep up the quality blogs. :)
